MAEV, a pioneering agency in the organization of tailor-made events in Marrakech and internationally, is taking a major step forward by inaugurating a new creative space: Atelier MAEV. This opening coincides with the agency’s 15th anniversary, an anniversary that will be celebrated with great fanfare next April.

Designed as a true incubator of ideas, the MAEV Atelier combines offices, production workshops, manufacturing spaces, and storage areas. This unique space reflects the agency’s philosophy: combining creativity and execution to design tailor-made experiences. “This workshop is much more than a workspace; it’s a place of expression where each project comes to life with passion and devotion,” emphasizes Safae El Hakym, founder and CEO of MAEV.
Since its creation in 2009, MAEV has made its mark in the field of weddings and private events. With hundreds of projects around the world, from the beaches of Ibiza to the skyscrapers of New York, the agency caters to a demanding international clientele. A pioneer of bohemian chic and visionary style in festival scenography, MAEV has also made a lasting impression with collaborations on prestigious events such as Burning Man and the MOGA Festival.
In addition to weddings and festivals, MAEV has diversified into the organization of professional events, collaborating with renowned brands such as PWC, Sanofi and St Regis.
A sustainable and responsible commitment
Far from limiting itself to the events sphere, MAEV stands out for its social and environmental initiatives. During the COVID-19 crisis, the agency preserved its jobs thanks to projects like La Karavane, a sustainable travel experience in Morocco. More recently, following the September 2023 earthquake in Morocco, MAEV mobilized its resources to help affected villages, raising more than 752,000 dirhams to support local populations.
Safae El Hakym: a visionary woman at the heart of MAEV
Driven by a dual Franco-Moroccan background, Safae El Hakym founded MAEV in 2009 with a clear ambition: to reinvent the event industry by combining Moroccan refinement with international standards. Under her leadership, the agency redefined the codes of event scenography, becoming a benchmark in the field.
“Our vision for MAEV is to export the Moroccan art of living while reinventing event trends. With our new workshop, we aim to offer unique and responsible projects,” she says.
A promising future for Moroccan events
With the inauguration of this MAEV Workshop, the agency opens a new chapter in its history. This space symbolizes its ambition to push the boundaries of creativity and offer memorable experiences to its clients. By inviting partners and clients to discover this space, MAEV reaffirms its commitment to excellence and originality.
